This is Erica.

This is Erica.

Erica was happy to see her mom and too dehydrated to know what her tongue was doing. She did not know the man behind her.

Erica was happy to see her mom and too dehydrated to know what her tongue was doing. She did not know the man behind her.

Erica is an actress, writer and comedian living in New York City. She can be seen in a wide array of TV shows and films, from NBC's "The Brave" and “New Amsterdam” to “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Brittany Runs a Marathon” and appears in several episodes of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." She is a series correspondent on the new CBS show “Mission Unstoppable,” executive produced by Geena Davis, with host Miranda Cosgrove all about women in STEM (which has given Erica the most cred with her family out of anything she’s done!) She was an actor in the 24 Hour Plays Nationals, the second place winner of the NBC/UCB Diversity Showcase (see that performance here!) and voiced Erica in The Truth Podcast’s critically acclaimed 4 part series “The Off Season.”

Erica has been performing sketch comedy and impressions around New York City and for whomever's on her internet for several years and is a house sketch comedy performer on Maude night at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, with her current team The Foundation. You can also see her in videos on CollegeHumor, Mas Mejor, Funny or Die, Flama and more.

Erica co-hosted the Spanish podcast "MedioGringo" and is half of the insane duo "Los Profesores": Spanish comedy for English speakers (like your high school Spanish class, but much, much dumber), which enjoyed a run of their show "Los Profesores ¡En Vacaciones!" at UCB

A first generation American raised in Texas, she is a Colombian and German blend of culture, personality, and... hair? So she’s been told. She grew up listening to the brunette Shakira and eating bratwurst in a Texan suburb where Starbucks closes before dinnertime.

Erica received her BA in theatre performance and Spanish language and literature from Fordham University. While at Fordham, she studied abroad in Mexico City for one semester, solidifying her love of mangoes, avocados, and Latin pop music. After graduating from Fordham, she studied sketch writing and advanced improvisational comedy at Upright Citizen's Brigade.

Erica has a completed manuscript of her first book, Waiting on America, a nonfictional study on the diets of sea turtles.**

**(It is not about sea turtles....But there is a chapter on food).

Erica is a lyrical soprano. (For a sample of what she sounds like, go here),

Erica has been a recreational runner for a while. She ran in the 2015 NYC marathon, and continues to run distance runs when she can. She knows, what is wrong with her? Seriously. But hey, if there's ever a zombie attack, Erica will be prepared.

For more info on what she's doing, visit her updates page.  Or take a walk and look for a tall brunette trying to balance a couple bags on a Citibike without hitting anyone. That's probably Erica.
